1 Small Bar of Pure Local Beeswax
Our small beeswax bar is approximately 1oz - 1.2 oz each and has been melted and filtered 3-5 times to ensure purity. Beeswax is worth its weight in gold for the beekeeper and bees! Did you know it takes the bees 12 times the amount of energy to produce wax as it does honey? We try our best to give the bees back their wax to reuse as much as possible. What we end up keeping is a mixture from both wild colonies (that we had to remove from a structure or log) if we're not able to reuse all of the combs in their new hive and from our own hives' bur comb (misplaced comb) and the cappings (which cover the honey in the cells) which we remove before spinning the honey out. Our beeswax is a natural product and color may vary from bar to bar.
